Acme Widget Online

This program is for the employees of Acme Widget to enter data, generate reports, and perform tasks related to the Acme Widget business. This is currently not a fully functional program, rather it is a “proof of concept” that demonstrates basic data entry and display functions. This is a web-based database application with a browser interface showing how data is managed for the fictitious company Acme Widget. It is intended for internal use by the company’s employees. It handles all of the tasks for managing Acme Widget’s data entry — entry, modification, deletion, and list display of the different types of information that are used in their business. Currently it provides separate pages for entry and listing of data of the following types:
  • Customers — data about Acme Widget’s customers
  • Employees — the sales reps who service customer accounts
  • Departments — departments within Acme Widget

This is a fully functional yet simple program, a “proof of concept” that demonstrates basic data entry and display functions.
